We found this site from other sites and forums that were also talking about
their bad experiences with Carousel Club in the city.
My husband and I are very new to the swingers scene, so when we did a search on
the internet we found Carousel Club's website. What intrigued us was the free
couples night on Wednesdays. So without doing more research we wasted our time
and money visiting the club back a few weeks ago. Was it free? Wrong! It's
the old bait and switch game.
It's advertised on the website "couples free for the first two hours". But
when we got there, we had to pay for that ridiculous MANDATORY three month
membership card! Trust us, once you walk in and see the losers who are either
cheating on their wives or girl friends, you don't want to go back ever again.
The club smells like a dank wet cat. You know it does when the owner walks
around without an aero-deorderize can spraying into rooms with men who don't
know how to bathe or use deordorant. We swear to you we even saw what appeared
to be a homeless person who barely scraped enough money to cover the charge of
getting in. What did he even put on that membership sheet as his address?
Cardboard box on 8th avenue?
Morale for the workers must have been very low. The bartender looked like she
worked a twenty hour shift else where before coming in and the Mexican worker
could be found sleeping on a crusty couch and snoring very loudly over the bad
music being blarred over the loud speakers. And that scene of the owner just
sitting there watching porn while drinking beer is very true. - Gabe
